I've lived in Michigan all my life but I'm proud to say that I'm a pure Cuban, meaning both my parents are from Cuba. I love my heritage and grew up listening to latin music. My father had the gift of music and transferred it to me. I have always had the passion for music and started out at a very young age singing. By age 10 I started playing the piano and my love for it grew quickly. I began to teach myself and soon became better than expected. By age 12 I started teaching myself guitar and have been playing it since. Writing songs soon became a passion and now I'm just looking for someone to accept me i guess as their project!

Mahjohr is a nickname that my friend Janna gave me. It actually roots from a made up word Mahjohrm'nism. My name is Mahjohr and Janna's is M'nism. The word mahjohrm'nism is a combination of all are friends' names....at least its what it sounds like in the end. I know its odd, but that's my middle name.
